Pinch to zoom in on a mountain pass, tilt for a realistic 3D view, and switch between four gorgeous map styles in a single tap. Whether you're previewing your next hike, planning a photo trip, or just revisiting where you've been - KMZ Previewer keeps everything one tap away.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Open any KMZ file - straight from Files, iCloud, Mail, or the share sheet. Placemarks, paths, and polygons all render automatically.
- Pick your map style - Standard, Terrain, Hybrid, or Satellite. Every style supports realistic 3D elevation so mountains look like mountains.
- Search any place - find restaurants, landmarks, addresses, or trailheads. Tap a result to see the straight-line distance to the nearest point in your KMZ and to your current location.
- Drop your own pins - tap the map to drop a pin at exact GPS coordinates, or type latitude and longitude manually. Name each one, edit it later, and drag-to-reposition with a long-press.
- See it all at once - KMZ features in orange, your custom pins in green, search results in blue, and your location in the classic blue dot.
- Share your work - send the loaded KMZ via AirDrop, Messages, Mail, or save it back to Files.
- Your places persist - the last opened KMZ and every custom pin you create are saved across app launches automatically.

The KMZ Previewer App does not collect, store, or share any personal or non-personal information about its users.
- No Third-Party Services
The KMZ Previewer App does not use any third-party analytics tools, advertising platforms, or external services that collect or process user data.
- No Account Required
You are not required to create an account, provide personal information, or grant access to device data to use the App, however, access to the GPS data is required to add pins to the map. The app will prompt you for the GPS access when it's open for the first time, and can be revoked via iPhone settings anytime.
